The answer is: not much. Thanks to some awesome weather delays and required crew groundings, I got to spend the night in a hotel in Elk Grove and get 2 hours of sleep.
On the plus side, my trip to Chicago did involve baseball, hanging out with Nolda and Schwartz, hot dogs, and an awesome view of Lake Michigan and the Chicago harbor lighthouse from the other hotel.
